Intellijel warrants all newly purchased products to be free of manufacturing defects for a period of two (2) years following the product’s purchase date by the owner. This warranty does not cover any damage caused by misuse of the product, or any unauthorized modification of the product’s hardware or firmware.
Intellijel reserves the right to determine what qualifies as misuse at their discretion. Examples of misuse include, but are not limited to:
- Damage to the product caused by excessive physical force
- Exposure to extreme heat or moisture
- Improperly connecting the product to a power supply or other misuse of the product
- Issues related to third party products
The customer must provide proof of purchase (such as a receipt or invoice) for the warranty to be honoured. The product warranty may be transferred from one owner to another within the warranty period.
Repairs
To return a product for repair or replacement, please e-mail support@intellijel.com and we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) with our address, or that of a local authorized repair centre. Be sure to properly package your product, and clearly mark the RMA number on the box before shipping your product. Failure to adequately protect and package a product during shipping will void any remaining warranty.
Products not under warranty may be repaired at our hourly service rates of $70 USD per hour. Intellijel reserves the right to refuse to repair any product not covered by warranty at their discretion.
The owner is responsible for any shipping fees necessary to send the product to Intellijel. Intellijel will be responsible for any shipping fees required to return the product to the owner or retailer.
